For more than 13 years, the company has supported public- and private-sector clients across the construction, infrastructure, energy, water, manufacturing, mining, hospitality and education sectors. In 2021, Assagy Environmental expanded its capabilities through the establishment of a dedicated Land Rehabilitation and Plant Hire Division. Core Services • Construction Health and Safety Agent services, including the preparation of health and safety specifications, baseline risk assessments, compliance monitoring and Construction Work Permit applications. • Environmental compliance monitoring, independent auditing, regulatory reporting and Environmental Control Officer services for construction, infrastructure, industrial and operational projects. • Development and maintenance of environmental, occupational health and safety legal registers, together with legal compliance assessments and gap analyses. • Independent compliance audits of Water Use Licences, Waste Management Licences, Environmental Authorisations, Environmental Management Programmes and ISO management systems. • Wetland delineation and functional assessments, aquatic ecological assessments, vegetation and biodiversity studies, habitat assessments, and surface water, groundwater and soil sampling. • Environmental authorisation, licence and permit applications, including applications relating to threatened or protected species, protected trees, indigenous vegetation, water uses, waste activities and other regulated environmental activities. • Threatened and protected species surveys, specialist biodiversity screening, pre-construction search-and-rescue operations, and the controlled translocation, relocation and monitoring of protected plants and fauna. • Preparation and implementation of environmental management plans, rehabilitation plans, alien invasive plant management plans, biodiversity management plans, monitoring programmes and statutory regulatory reports. • Land rehabilitation, contaminated-land remediation, ecological restoration, alien invasive plant control, erosion control, landscaping, revegetation, hydroseeding, plant supply and specialised plant-hire services. These services are supported by established capabilities in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 31000 and ISO 45001 management systems, as well as HACCP and FSSC 22000 food-safety systems.
